Paraphernalia
Take Two, Collection One - Crochet is almost available! The premise of Take Two is that two designers (Fay Dashper-Hughes and Lynne Rowe) each designed four patterns. We then swapped patterns over and recreated them using different yarns, or hook sizes or changing small elements of the original pattern. Within the Take Two you get the original eight patterns and the details of the ‘take two’ desings, sixteen designs in total.
Paraphernalia:
This pattern was created out of necessity. I leave my notions all over the place and needed one place to combine them all. On working up the design I thought it would be best to make a pouch/purse that was multi-purpose. Paraphernalia has been purposefully sized to hold hooks, stitch markers, scissors, sock DPNs (and your sock WIP) or £20 notes.
You don’t have to be an expert sewer to make this pattern. It can easily be hand sewn or you can machine sew the lining and a zipped pouch - it really is up to you!
Yarn:
Erika Knight for John Lewis Baby DK (110m/120yds per 50g) in Light Jade. The project uses 50g (110m) for the main body of the project and about 5g for the edges and seaming.
