This two-color sweater changes colors at the center cable, which requires both intarsia and stranded techniques. The drop-shoulder sleeves also change color at the center cable. The neckband can be worked all in one color, or it can use the same color pattern as the body.

If you look at the photographs of the sample, notice that the cable sizes vary every other cable. I have worked two-color cables before and worked to keep them the same size. For this sweater, I decided to strand the yarn tightly for Rows 7 through 14 to compress the width. I liked the results. When you work the cables, it is up to you if you want to try this.

Check the chest size when selecting a size. I always recommend going bigger unless you want the sweater to fit a newborn.
