• Good Wool comes in five shades grown by the sheep themselves, plus a big rainbow of gorgeous colors dyed over these natural shades, creating beautiful heathers full of depth.
• From highland sheep who have adapted to the cold conditions of the Peruvian Altiplano’s high altitudes, this wool is particularly durable, springy, warm, and softer than you may expect! The sheep that make Good Wool are well looked after, grazing in large open areas during the day, safely protected during cold nights, and sheared with the greatest care. Good Wool is also certified to be free of substances that may be harmful to human health.
• Technically a sport-weight yarn, Good Wool has so much loft and bloom that we often knit it up at a light worsted (or DK) weight, as well!
