Owligan
Exceptionally cosy winter cardigan in super-bulky yarn.
With a choice of two lengths; charted or written instructions, and the option of knitting the sleeves flat or in the round, this pattern is a speedy knit and a great beginner sweater.
Sizing and fit
Bust (with overlapped front bands) 37¼ (42, 45¼, 50, 53¼, 58, 61¼) ins / 94.5 (106.5, 115, 127, 135, 147.5, 155.5) cm
Your Owligan should be worn with 5cm / 2in to 15cm / 6in positive ease from your actual bust measurement. In order to decide which size to make, measure your bust, add 5cm / 2in - 15cm / 6in to this measurement, and choose a size which is closest to this number.

Gauge
10 sts and 14 rows to 10cm / 4in over stockinette stitch. This was achieved using 9mm (UK 00 / US 13) knitting needles. Achieving the correct gauge is essential. Please make a swatch, wash and measure it carefully, and swatch again if necessary. Whichever needle gives you the correct gauge is your gauge-size needle. Once you have identified your gauge-size needle, choose needles one size smaller for the below gauge-size needles.
