Hat 101
This hat is the 101st pattern for hand-knitting that I have designed and published. It is a sampler of many things I enjoy about making stranded hats: simple two-colour knitting, small interconnected motifs, centred double decreases, a pleasing crown pattern and an accommodating shape that can be blocked into a tam. I hope you enjoy it.
Size
To fit head circumference: 51-56cm 20-22in
When blocked and stretched into tam shape over plate, hat crown diameter measures 25.5cm 10in and pre-crown hat depth measures 8.5cm 3¼in

Kate Davies Designs Buachaille (shade A) (100% wool: Shetland / Cheviot blend) and Kate Davies Designs Schiehallion (shade B) (100% wool: Corriedale / Cheviot blend) both 110m / 120yds per 50g skein)
A Squall: 1 x 50g skeins
