This has been a popular pattern at my shop. It looks like a single onesie-type garment, but actually it’s two pieces buttoned around the center. Leave off the buttonholes and you have two pieces that can be used with other clothing. This is not a difficult pattern if you know how to pick up and knit, increase and decrease, and make yarn overs.

There are two sizes included with the pattern: newborn and 6 - 12 months. Fingering weight is used with size US 3 needles for newborn. Sportweight and size US 5 needles are needed for 6 - 12 months. I chose Chameleon Colorworks’ Bambino (fingering) and Chameleon Colorworks’ Serenity (sport) for the samples shown.

These are sweet to look at, soft for the baby to wear, and a joy to knit!
