This is a cuter than cute chef who also happens to be a gnome! He’s not a beginner project, but he’s worth the effort if you can do the following: k, p, work in the round, kfb, k2tog, i-cord (look for directions online), and m1. Directions are included for all of these techniques, except i-cord.

He has a wonderful chef’s hat, a button chef’s shirt (buttons are sewn on and non-functional. It’s a perfect and fun gift for the cook in your life and an awesome kitchen decor item! This is not meant for a small child’s toy.

Yarn is dk weight and needed colors are peach (or skin color of your choice), white, and black. You’ll need a set of four size US4/3.5mm double pointed knitting needles, Poly-fil, 8 1/4”/6mm white buttons, white sewing thread and a sewing needle. The rest is detailed in the pattern.
