Odile, meaning “fortunate or prosperous in battle”. I promise you that creating this shawl will be a very happy “battle” and you will absolutely love the end result.
It’s a real head turner, a spirited, very enjoyable lace pattern that repeats throughout and will keep you happily engaged.
Two Dk weight yarns are being used. You decide whether you want more contrast or as shown a blended tone on tone palette.

The pattern is fully written and also has a chart for the lace.
Blocked measurements: 62.5” by 17”.
Yarn
C1-1 skein of Element, a DK weight in two to three colors in three strands of lace and fingering weights. 220 yards per skein.
C2- 2 skeins of Bambon, DK weight in a soft blend of bamboo and cotton. 154 yards a skein.

Notions used
US size 9 (5.5 mm) circular needle 40” (102 cm) in length.
2 Stitch markers.
Darning needle or crochet hook for finishing.
Gauge
12 sts and 20 rows in 4” of Stockinette stitch, blocked.
Techniques used
Knitting and purling, lace knitting, slipping stitches and passing them over, color changes, stretchy bind off, weaving in ends and blocking.
