Didiere cowl
The Didiere cowl has a lot of personality~
Wear it “right” side or “wrong” side out. Wait a minute, there is no wrong side here….
The top of the cowl keeps your neck warm and your shoulders will thank you for the split open bottom. Comfort all around~
A wonderfully soft yarn with textured speckles is used here to add to the charm of the design. With a practical side slit to show off in the middle, in the back, over your shoulder or off to one side, the cowl gives you surprisingly many options to wear.
Knitted in the round and flat with a really fun cable pattern that looks great from either side, two twisted ribbed border and easy going garter stitches. This cowl works up pretty quickly and feels great.
The pattern is fully written and also offers you a chart for the cable portion. The unblocked size
Yarn used here
Two skeins of Softness, a yarn that is wonderfully soft and creates textured speckles. Each skein holds 100 yards (91 meters) in a blend of 50/50 in a very smooth Darlon and a thick and thin cotton. Together they create a DK weight.
