This is the eleventh in a series of twelve mini knitted pictures, published throughout 2017. Each little quilt is about the size of a postcard and has its own knitted binding to frame it. The quilts are buttoned on to a small wire hanger with a knitted sleeve so that they can be changed for a new quilt each month.

As well as making them as a knitted calendar, these little pictures could be used for blankets or anything else that needs a bit of decoration. The pieces for the pictures are knitted separately and sewn on to the background so they could be added to hats, scarves or bags too.

With the nights drawing in at this time of year, what could be nicer than a hot drink in a mug decorated with a little sheep? Of course, the sheep could be replaced with other small knitted decorations (perhaps from the other mini quilts in this series) or the mug could be decorated with some embroidery or a few pretty buttons.
