This balaclava is knitted from the bottom up in the round starting by the collar, decreases are made to shape the face hole, knitting back and forth until the crown, wich is closed with the kitchener stitch method. Stitches for the face hole brim are picked up and knitted in the round, making two holes in the way, to then finished with a folded ribbing. Finally, a braid or i-cord is made to pass through the face ribbing, and tassels and pompoms can be added.

Sizes: 1 size equivalent to 54 cm of head semi circumference (finished measurements).

Gauge: 13 sts x 17 rows = 10 cm, measured over stockinette st and larger needles, after blocking.

Yarn:
Yarn A (Speckled raw): approx 220 meters of DK weight yarn.
Yarn B (Neon yellow): approx 40 meters of DK weight yarn.
Yarn C (Mint): approx 60 meters of DK weight yarn.

Needles:
5.5 mm circular needles, with a cable of 60 cm, for the body.
5.0 mm needles with a cable of 40 cm for the Collar and brim.
Always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.

Notions: 1 stitch marker for BOR, tapestry needle, stitch, pins and mats for blocking.

Esta balaclava se teje de abajo hacia arriba en redondo comenzando por el cuello, se hacen disminuciones para darle forma al agujero de la cara, tejiendo de ida y vuelta hasta la coronilla, la cual se cierra con el método de punto kitchener. Los puntos para el elástico del agujero de la cara se recogen y se tejen en redondo, haciendo dos agujeros en el camino, para luego terminar con un elástico doblado. Finalmente, se hace una trenza o i-cord que pasa a través del elástico de la cara, donde se pueden agregar borlas y pompones.

Tallas: 1 talla, equivalente a 54 cm de semi-circunferencia de cabeza (medidas finales).

Muestra: 13 p x 17 vtas = 10 cm, medido sobre punto jersey con las agujas más grandes, post bloqueo.

Hilado:
Hilado A (Crudo con speckles): aprox 220 metros de hilado grosor DK.
Hilado B (Amarillo Neón): aprox 40 metros de hilado grosor DK.
Hilado C (Menta): aprox 60 metros de hilado grosor DK.
