The Nordic Wintering Beanie is a little nod to Nordic colorwork traditions and the seventies. It is a quick knit with a folded brim for extra warmth.

Worked in the same motif family as the Nordic Wintering Infinity Cowl and Mittens, it can be the starting point or the finishing touch for the whole set.

CONSTRUCTION & NOTES
The beanie is knitted bottom up with a double folded brim for extra warmth. It features 2 x 2 ribbing and Tubular Cast On. Note, there is no designated main color and only two (2) colors are worked per row.

The pattern includes instructions how to work the 2 by 2 Tubular Cast On without a provisional cast on.

Length: approx. 22 (24.5) cm / 8.75 (9.75)” with brim folded double. If you want a more fitted, watchcap-style hat, knit the shorter version. If you want a little more length (slightly slouchier), or you have a larger head, knit the longer version.
