Rich texture and smooth stockinette stitch – New Paths is a cozy shawl with a traditional triangle shape. It’s both elegant and rustic at the same time. Knit with DK weight yarn and blanket sized, it’s wonderful for keeping you warm.


New Paths has the same stitch pattern that was used in All The Roads mitts, also knit with DK weight yarn, so these two patterns make a great set.

Materials
• Yarn: 4 skeins of Malabrigo Dos Tierras (50% Merino, 50% Baby Alpaca; 192 m / 210 yds per 100 g) OR 672 m / 735 yds of DK weight yarn
• Needles: 4.5 mm / US 7 circular needle or size needed to obtain gauge
• 2 stitch markers

The sample was knit using Malabrigo Dos Tierra in Polar Morn.

Gauge
18 sts x 28 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm / 4” x 4” in stockinette stitch after blocking.
