“All the roads we have to walk are winding…” from the classic Oasis song Wonderwall kept playing in my head as I was knitting these and thinking of all the lovely walks and strolls I would take while wearing them.

Rustic and elegant at the same time, these mitts feature a heavily textured all-over pattern and a plain stockinette band for contrast. The repeat is interesting to knit yet still easy to memorize.

Materials:
200m/220y DK weight yarn
4mm/US6 dpns (you only need four for this pattern)
2 stitch markers
Stitch holder or waste yarn

Gauge:
20 sts x 26 r in stockinette stitch = 10cm / 4”

Sizes:
S, M and L
Circumference: 17, 19, 21 cm / 6.75, 7.5, 8.25”
Length: 26, 27, 27 cm / 10.25, 10.75, 10.75”

Notes:
The mitts are knit in the round with stitches on three needles.
The thumb gussets have separate instructions for both left and right mitt.
You can also knit these mitts using the magic loop method instead of dpns.
