Nephilim Shawl is semi-circular shawl mixes stockinette stitch, garter stitch, lace and short rows to give you a result that’s textured, modern and slightly asymmetrical

Designed to go with the sweater by the same name, Nephilim Shawl was a fun pattern to create. It was first supposed to be a straight-forward shawl using the same repeats as the sweater, but we then decided that it would be fun to make it using short rows to add some visual interest.

The sample was made using 2 skeins of EmmaH Design Ouranos (color: Hecate), or a total of around 696 yds (636 meters) of fingering weight yarn.

Nephilim Shawl est un châle en demi-lune utilise du jersey, du point mousse, de la dentelle et des rangs raccourcis pour vous donner un résultat texturé, moderne et légèrement asymétrique.

Conçu pour aller avec le pull portant le même nom, Nephilim Shawl a été un patron amusant à créer. Il devait d’abord simplement reprendre la même séquence de points que le pull, mais on s’est ensuite dit que ce serait amusant d’utiliser des rangs raccourcis pour ajouter un intérêt visuel.

Le démonstrateur a été tricoté avec 2 écheveaux d’EmmaH Design Ouranos (couleur : Hécate), ou un total d’environ 636 mètres (696 yds) de laine grosseur fingering.
