Then the right and left fronts are joined and the front armholes are knitted down to the specified length. After that, the back and the front are joined to work the body in the round down to the desired length. Next, the finishing detail is applied to get the turtle neck or crew neck. Finally, the sleeve stitches are picked up, sleeve caps are shaped and the sleeves are worked in the round down to the desired length.

GAUGE

Corresponding circular needles size 3.0 mm (US 2½) 30 cm/ 12”, 40 cm/ 16” and 80 cm/ 32” for the neckline, sleeves and body ribbing.
