Mother’s Day Cowl

Mother’s Day is nearly here. Why not treat your mom, grandma, great grandma, auntie, sister, cousin, niece or someone you love to a special warm weather cowl? There are two pattern versions, the moebius and infinity cowl; each one is fast and fun to knit.
It is approximately 4” deep x 58” in circumference.
Gauge: 3 sts./in.

Materials for Version One
The Moebius has a 180-degree twist, which is created at the special cast on, and join. Rounds of knitting grow from the center of the work to the outsides.
One skein of Arucania, Alumco Tonal. Approximately 215 yards.
Size 8 circular needles 47” inch length. Stitch marker. Yarn needle.

Materials for Version Two
The Infinity Cowl is knit in the round with no twist. It is knit from cast on edge to bound off edge.
One skein of Arucania, Alumco Tonal. Approximately 215 yards.
Size 8 circular needles 24” or 32” inch length. Stitch marker. Yarn needle.
