Beachy Wrap
Isn’t it time to knit something a little “Beachy”? This project had me searching through all my photos of sand and surf and sun. This is a sunset photo from Ft. Meyers, FL. Enjoy!
It’s a fun wrap or scarf, knit in a self-fringing, feather & fan pattern, perfect to toss on as the sun sets. Berroco Karma is a chunky cotton yarn that knits up quickly with size 11 needles (32”). It is 14” deep x 56” long plus fringe. Gauge is 3sts./in. after blocking.
Knit it as stripes or in one color. Extend the depth of the wrap by adding another skein.
Color Key
Color 1 – Lapis 3412
Color 2 – Aquamarine 3480
Color 3 – Ultramarine Violet 3425
Color 4 – Malachite 3424
Options: Wear it fastened with an amazing shawl pin or sew a few buttons along the top points of the pattern to attach it at the shoulder as a poncho.
Another excellent yarn choice for this wrap is Berroco, Espresso - a new chunky cotton blend.
