Moraine
» Moraine (noun): a ridge, mound, or irregular mass of unstratified glacial drift, chiefly boulders, gravel, sand, and clay.
Moraine is a v-neck cardigan with a simple ridge pattern at the left side of the body, shoulder and sleeve.
The shoulder and sleeve shaping is done using the contiguous method developed by Susie Myers, making it possible to work the cardigan top down in one piece while keeping the look and fit of set in sleeves.
Yarn: Squoosh Fiberarts Ultra DK (100% Merino; 206 meters / 225 yards per 100g). Colorway used (green version): “Fresh Cut Grass”.
4-4-5-6-6-7 skeins.
Needles: 4.5 mm / US 7 circular needles (80 cm / 32 inches long).
Other: 6 stitch markers, a darning needle, waste yarn for setting sts aside for sleeves.
7-8 buttons of 0.75 inch / 2 cm size.
Size: XS-S-M-L-XL-2XL, to fit bust of 74-84-94-104-114-124 cm / 29-33-37-41-45-49 inches.
Cardigan is intended with a bit of negative ease.

Gauge: 19 sts & 25 rows over 4 inches / 10 cm in stockinette stitch.
