Like the two lonely main characters in the movie Moonstruck, the colors and textures in this shawl merge to form a beautiful new pattern.

The solid and two-color sections in the Moonstruck Shawl are actually the same stitch. Elongated stitches are dropped and then worked two stitches later, creating a mock cable in the solid sections and a rick rack effect when using two colors. Worked flat from the narrow end, an attached I-cord frames the long vertical edge and finishes the top edge.
