My mother has always had a lovely garden. She’s from London and the British love flowers! I saw the color of Madelinetosh Twist Light in “Shroom With A View” and it reminded me of her garden. You will need two skeins of Shroom With A View and one skein of Paper. You will have some yarn left over, so you can make another couple small projects.

This shawl is big, drapey, showy and absolutely gorgeous. This would be perfect for a wedding shawl, and can be made in one color only. The bottom and along the top are beautifully stitched in a deep lace pattern. The pattern includes both charts (easy to read and large) and also written directions for the charts for those not enjoying working from the charts.

The garden color is along the top and is also used in the impressive lace. The shawl is crescent shape. You will need to know how to k, p, yo, ssk, k2tog, s2kpo, and work wraps and turns (complete directions for all techniques are included).
