I’ve always loved a classically long, hanging shawl. A good droopy shawl can be worn for both warmth and for style, and this one is designed with both in mind. Large enough to bundle up in on a chilly Winter day, and airy enough to wear even in moderate or warm weather, this shawl is meant to be versatile and worn at any time of the year.
This standard triangle shape is adapted to be extra-long, and uses the simple garter tab method to set up the first few rows. From there, the easy-to-remember 3-color pattern is used to grow the body, ending in rows of 2x2 ribbing for some added flair.
