This is the second sock of a year-long “Club” of patterns. The entire collection includes 12 sock patterns (plus a few bonus items), representative of different world cities. Skill-level: Adventurous beginner; The only issue might be sock construction, but otherwise, these are very basic, simple socks.
Yarn: Approx. 350-400 yds (320-365 m) of sock yarn. The sample socks were a size L, and used ~380 yards of Clarendon Sock from Townhouse Yarns in the color Spiced Plum.
Needles: US1 (2.25mm) sock needles. The pattern will include directions for both DPN and Magic Loop users.
Tools: measuring tape, scissors, and tapestry needle
Gauge: 32 stitches & 48 rounds per 4inch(10cm) square, worked in stockinette, in the round.
Sizing: Small (Medium, Large, Extra-large) sizes measure approximately 8(9,10,11) inches or 20(23,25.5,28) cm in circumference. Leg height, ankle depth, and foot length are all adjustable to preference and fit.
