Mannington
Gazing in wonder at the meticulously sculpted topiary garden, your eyes catch a glimpse of your favorite flowers. You can almost smell them in the distance. You make your way through the maze of this formal English garden until you reach their scent. As you close your eyes while leaning over to take in their aroma, you remember why they become your favorite so long ago.
Knit in DK weight, this large crescent-shaped shawl is named after the Mannington Estate and Gardens in England. The shawl contains motifs of topiary and perennials, and is finished with a simple picot edge almost vine-like in appearance.
This shawl is for my Mother-in-law Jo who lives in Nuneaton in England.
Finished Dimensions are 19 inches down the center back and 45 inches from the bottom of the center back to each tip.
