Magical Side to Side Scarf
by Susan Santos
This side-to-side scarf is cleverly worked so that the fringe magically appears when you ravel stitches after binding off. The Zauberball yarn and the Loops and Curves Lace Stitch create a striped pattern that looks great on both sides, but it can be knitted with any yarn, in any weight. When substituting yarn simply weigh your yarn and use approximately 26% for the Increase Section, 47% for the Work Even Section, and 26% for the Decrease Section. (I like to hold back a small amount of yarn just in case.) Choose a needle size slightly larger than what is recommended on the ball band. Use the Zauberball yardage as a guide to yarn amounts for different weights/brands of yarn.
