Knit this casual sweater in-the-round on circular needles from the bottom up. This hemmed, seamless yoke shape is an easy first Nordic patterned sweater. Worked with traditional licing, pine trees and reindeer charts (with other optional charts);
the yoke has hidden short rows to create a raised back neck,
allowing for a better fit on the shoulders.
Included sleeves are sized for jacket wear…optional sleeve directions
(at end of pattern) features narrower sleeves.
Sizes: 38, 40, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50, 52, 54, 56, 58, 60” finished chest
All lengths are adjustable.
Gauge: 6 stitches and 7 rounds = 1”

When choosing sizes, measure an existing sweater’s chest below the underarm, and double it to get the finished chest size.
The thickness of this sweater requires 6”of ease for loose fit, and the hat needs 1-2” ease, as the inside measurement is smaller than the outside measurement due to the 2 strands of wool used throughout. Make any number from your existing garment BIGGER when in doubt. The hem hangs straight, and when knit to tunic length, will widen out an inch or two over time.
See number explanations above
