This hat is a great way to sample a yarn for Countrywool’s RAGLAN CELTIC PLAITED ARAN.
Two of the cables in the body of the sweater are used in this hat.
It can be a wonderful gauge swatch for the sweater as well as a matching hat!

Materials
Yarn:
Small: Praire Spun (wool) 1 – 100 grams/256 yards: SS (stockinette stitch) gauge 5.5 sts = 1”
Medium: Cascade 220 (wool) 1 - 100 grams/220 yards: SS gauge: 5 sts = 1”
Large (22”) Lamb’s Pride Worsted (wool/mohair) 1 - 4oz/190 yards: SS gauge: 4.5 sts = 1”
OR Lanaloft (wool) 2 - 100 gram/160 yards

16” circular needles and double pointed needles (set of 4) in sizes below:
 Small: US #4
 Medium: US #5
 Large: US #6
Cable stitch holder
Ring marker and Darning needle
