Length – 20 cm / 8”

YARN

Any wool, wool blend, cotton, or acrylic yarn that has the equivalent of 100 m / 110 yds in 50 g / 1.7 oz. It is consistent with the Worsted weight that is marked by the digit “4” on the yarn label.

You will need approximately 16 m / 18 yds of yarn in the main colour, 13 m / 14 yds of yarn in a contrasting colour A, and 9 m / 10 yds of yarn in a contrasting colour. B.

To make the glasses cases featured in the photos, I used Knitca Woolly Warmth yarn (100% wool).

NEEDLES

Single-pointed (if you choose to knit back and forth) or circular (if you choose to knit in the round) needles in size 4 mm (US size 6).

NOTIONS

Wool needle, a crochet hook in a size 4 mm (US G-6), and 1 stitch marker (if you plan to make a seamless version of this glasses case).

GAUGE

18.5 sts and 24.5 rows = 4” / 10 cm in stockinette stitch worked back and forth.
