Construction notes: The Lovelace Top is an elegant strappy top, which is knit seamlessly bottom-up. It features a split hem, a structural rib pattern at the sides, which separates into armhole edges and the shoulder straps. A romantic all-over lace pattern creates an interesting visual effect and fun knitting experience. The shoulders are joined with a Three-Needle bind-off and the neck edge is finished with a modified i-cord to reflect the side rib.

Inspiration: This pattern was inspired by Ada Lovelace. “That brain of mine is something more than merely mortal, as time will show.”
