This is a one piece cardigan style sweater for a baby. It was designed to teach knitters how to knit their first sweater and originally offered a KAL for my students. Hence, the pattern clarifies many details often absent from sweater patterns. Newer knitters or those unfamiliar with sweater knitting hopefully will derive great satisfaction upon its completion. The pattern also provides several options allowing the knitter to add a personal touch to its design and it is a one or two skein sweater with the recommended yarn.

Knit completely in one piece with only sleeve seams, it has no complicated shaping techniques or unusual stitches.The finished sweater is classic in shape and style and hopefully will become an heirloom garment.

The Hat pattern is included with this pattern, however it requires additional yardage to be completed.
