Leslie is a light and lively shawl filled with gently rolling rows of feather and fan and lots of color. It is worked in six colors for the lace-weight version and five colors for the fingering-weight version and makes a great stash-buster project.

I worked the lace-weight version with 6 mini skeins of Jilly Lace. Each skein contained 220 yds., and I had remainders for each color. I worked the fingering-weight version with 5 skeins of Araucania Nuble. Each skein contained 272 yds., and I had remainders for each color. So, both the lace version and the fingering version can be worked with less yardage than the range given above. The potential to change it up is endless. Add more or fewer colors. Or, consider making it in a slow, color-changing yarn.

The blocked dimensions for the lace version are 67.5 inches (171 cm) from tip to tip and 25 inches (64 cm) at the widest point. The blocked dimensions for the fingering version are 76 inches (193 cm) from tip to tip and 29.5 inches (75 cm) at the widest point.

Stitches used: chain; double crochet; extended single crochet; single crochet; slip stitch; treble crochet.

There are two files to download--one for each version of the shawl. Each is 5 pages long and includes several photos of the shawl, including blocking photos.
