Alexis
Alexis is a feminine and lacy heart-shaped scarf worked in lace-weight yarn. It begins at the center-top with 11 chains and continues to grow wider and deeper as each row is worked. After blocking, Alexis is 43.5 inches (110 cm) along the top line from tip to tip and 20.5 inches (52 cm) deep. It is a flexible piece that can be worn with the point in the front, at the side, or in the back.
The following stitches were used: chain, double crochet, single crochet, slip stitch, Solomon’s Knot, two double crochet cluster, three double crochet cluster, and two treble crochet cluster.
The pattern pdf is 5 pages in length and contains 7 photos, including blocking photos and up-close photos of the lacy design.
Thank you to each of the following testers: Alivaz, livelaughlove381, Cindi120, coldasicecube, and Sskcraftshop. They created some lovely versions of this design. In addition, you will see that some worked it in fingering-weight yarn. They used the same hook sizes and between 630 and 660 yds. of yarn for their pieces.
Please send me a message if you have questions about this design, or consider joining our group, CrochetWorks, where the testers and I will be happy to address your questions.
