La Belle Époque is worked top-down, with circular yoke.
Gradual increases are made in the yoke up to the sleeves that will be put on hold onto holder or scrap yarn and then resumed later.
This way there will be no seams.
The yoke is made up of a single chart that contains the increases.
The yoke is enriched with an original “relief” motif made with cables and bobbles; this design is intended to represent the play, the lightness, the splendor typical of the historical period called “La belle Époque” that inspired the pattern.
The sample in the photos is knit with a merino yarn together with a Suri Alpaca - Silk yarn both in the wonderful color-way (hand dyed) “Sunbathing Clouds“; the result is a pleasant melange texture for a precious garment, very soft to the touch and warm.
La Belle Époque comes in 11 sizes (from 84 to 176 cm / 31.4 to 69.2 “ bust circumference). The size guide and the table on PDF will help you choose the fit you prefer.

Questo modello è lavorato in tondo dall’alto verso il basso, si eseguono degli aumenti graduali nello sprone fino ad arrivare alle maniche che verranno messe in sospeso su un filo per poi essere riprese successivamente. Non ci sono cuciture. Nello sprone si segue un unico schema che contiene gli aumenti, lo sprone è arricchito da un originale motivo “in rilievo” realizzato con trecce e noccioline, questo disegno vuole rappresentare il gioco, la leggerezza, lo sfarzo caratteristiche tipiche del periodo storico definito “La belle Époque” che ha ispirato il modello
Abbiamo usato un filato in merino abbinato ad un filato in Suri Alpaca e seta entrambi nella meravigliosa colorazione (tinta a mano) “Sunbathing Clouds” il risultato è una piacevolissama texure melange per un capo prezioso, molto soffice al tatto e caldo.
Nel pattern sono disponibili 11 taglie (da 84 a 176 cm di circonferenza busto), la guida alle taglie e la tabella nel PDF ti aiuteranno a scegliere la vestibilitá che preferisci.
