Sometimes you just what a one skein project, don’t you ?
With Kodama, I wanted to create a timeless piece. One of those that you can easily imagine knitting several times. A small scarf full of delicacy, for you or your loved ones.

Kodama is worked in one piece, flat. It combines a part in garter stitch, and a part with a lovely lace pattern inspired by the color “Mononoke” by la Bien Aimée.

In the enchanted forest of “Princess Mononoke”, Kodamas are spirits that sometimes help humans find their way, both physically and spiritually.
Thus, between the rhythm of the stitches and the drawing they form, we can find a form of benevolent meditation. In any case, that’s all I wish for you.

Kodama was created in collaboration with La Bien Aimée, especially for their trip to the Amirisu shop in Japan.

Kodama se tricote en une pièce, à plat. Il combine une partie en point mousse et une partie avec un joli motif inspiré par la couleur “Mononoke” de la Bien Aimée.

Dans la forêt enchantée de “Princesse Mononoke”, les Kodama sont des esprits qui peuvent aider les humains à retrouver leur chemin, aussi bien physique que spirituel.
Ainsi, entre le rythme des mailles et le dessin qu’elles forment, on peut y trouver une forme de méditation bienveillante. En tous cas, c’est tout ce que je vous souhaite.
