Knit a Cosy Cardigan

There will be no need to shiver on grey mornings when there’s this lovely thick-knit cardigan to give you warm luxury.
MATERIALS.— 8 oz. of 3-ply super fingering, 1 pair each of No. 8, No. 10, and No. 13 knitting needles (Old UK), 1 small spare needle pointed at both ends, and 9 buttons the size of a shilling, and 1 small press stud.
MEASUREMENTS.— Length from shoulder at armhole edge, 19¼ in.; width all round under the arms, when fastened, 36 in, stretching to fit a 38-in. bust; length of sleeve seam, including cuff, 19 in.
TENSION.— 8 st. to 1 in. in width and 9 rows to 1 in. in depth.
