Kenni-Ann Socks
Inspired by the character Kendall Wakefield in Wherever There Is Light by Peter Golden, these socks are elegant and refined but have a unique charm all their own. In the novel, Kendall, known to many as Kenni-Ann, was born into a life of high expectations. Her mother, the daughter of a slave, founded an African American college in Florida. Despite pressure to remain a fixture at the college, Kenni-Ann is an artist at heart and moves to New York to forge her own path in life. These socks are a tribute to her character’s adventurous spirit.
This is a cuff-down sock pattern with a heel flap and gusset. It is charted.
