Kendall Dress
by CheVon Bell
I love textured knits, and one of my favorite textures to knit is the seed stitch. I wanted to showcase that stitch in this design. Cables are a great detail, especially in a child’s garment, so I wanted to add that as well. When it comes to design, an idea usually just pops into my head, and I try my best to draw it out. If I can draw it, usually I can see how I’d like to knit it. Initially, I wanted to incorporate a seamless yoke, but after much trial and error, I decided to pull out my favorite yoke shaping: the raglan. I hope you enjoy creating this garment for your favorite little one.
