For this pattern I used:
Yarn & Amounts:
For long version: One 100g balls of WYS Illustrious DK
For short version: One 50g ball Knoll Mohair Tweed

Metres/Yardage for long version: approx. 150m/164yds.
Metres/Yardage for short version: approx. 110m/120yds.

Needles: 3.25mm and 4mm circular needles (40cm length) and set of four double pointed 4mm needles.

Tension: 22 stitches and 26 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch using 4mm needles.

Size: to fit average size head.

My design ideas and advice: This is a classic beanie hat – nice, easy to knit, a true classic. Plus there isn’t any sewing up, except securing those last 6 stitches.
