Protect yourself from the cold in this simple dress, with flattering shaping, cozy pockets, and garter stitch detailing. It is worked from the top down in one piece, and is intended to fit with just a little positive ease. If your proportions are different than the pattern, it is not difficult to adjust it to fit.

The garter collar is somewhere between a funnel, cowl and turtleneck. It is picked up and worked up from the main piece at the end, so can be made as shown, or easily adapted to be a narrower turtleneck or a wider and/or longer cowl.

Suitable for a beginner who understands top down raglan construction.
