This T-shirt is simple in appearance, but constructed in an unusual way : the lower body is worked side to side, and the yoke is picked up directly from the body and relies on a 3 needle bind off to connect the pieces at the back. There is no seaming! Other required techniques include short rows, and simple increases and decreases. Provisional cast on is optional.

The pattern includes a button or bow option for the sleeves, as well as adjustments to customize the fit for bust measurements in between the given sizes. This allows for a fit with zero ease at the bust, which is recommended.

Suitable for an intermediate knitter.

If you are substituting yarn, for the version with the bows, select a light dk weight; you don’t want too stiff or thick a fabric (shown here in Drops Alpaca). For the button version, you can select a yarn that creates a sturdier fabric (shown here in Rowan Felted Tweed).

Yarn requirements:
XS - 700 m
S - 750 m
M - 850 m
L - 1000 m
XL - 1100 m
XXL - 1200 m

Errata:

for size M, in section 3, on p.4, please note the change in bold below (4 repeats should be 5):

Repeat the last 8 rows 4 (4, 5, 5, 5, 6) more times.

for size XL, in section 2, on p.3, the total st are 116 (not 114) and in the following section it should say 34, not 33 st:
