Construction technique

Begin by working a folded neckband in twisted 1x1 rib. Next, a simple yoke is worked using swivel increases. These are done by moving the position of the increase along by 2 stitches on each round. Once the yoke is complete you will change yarn and needle size and begin working the lower body and sleeves in an open honeycomb stitch. Increases are made to create a ruffled effect. Next, separate the stitches to continue working sleeves and body pieces in the round.
