Lolita Strap Top
The Lolita Strap Top is worked top down. It begins with one front strap and a little neckline shaping, stitches are then placed on hold and a second strap is worked for the other side. The two pieces are then joined at the front with additional cast-on stitches to complete the front neckline. The bodice is continued with bust and underarm shaping then stitches are placed on hold. Stitches are cast on for one back strap and shaped before putting on hold and working the second strap. The front and back pieces are then joined and worked in the round for the rest of the bodice. Strap lengths are adjusted to your size accordingly before being bound together. The lower body is then worked in contrasting yarn in an open-honeycomb lace stitch.
