This pretty cowl in two sizes (S/L) is unusual for both its texture and fabric. The stitch pattern—which resembles a popcorn stitch—requires much less fuss than you’d think. The fabric derives its soft and slinky drape from pairing two vastly different yarns—one that is thick, lush, and springy with one that is thin, slick, and silky. Two needle sizes are recommended for maximum effect, but if you find that too fiddly, use one in-between size.

Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size, drape, and yarn requirement.

Pattern for coordinating Honeybuns hat may be purchased separately

Cowl is shown in size S and L, knit in Bare Naked Wools Precious, color Brown Sugar and The Alpaca Yarn Company Mariquita Hand Dyed, colorway Lavender Sugar,
