Home is where the heart is
Home is where the heart is hidden in the illusion.
When you look at the wall-hanging from directly in front you see four large striped squares; when you look from the side you see H O M E, with a heart nestling in the letter O.
The hanging in the photos was made with DK yarns and used about 100 metres (110 yards) in each of four colours, with extra for the border. It is about 50 cm (20”) square. It is shown stretched over a thin board.
You can use any thickness of yarn though using a different thickness will probably change the overall size.
You could also use this design for a large cushion or as part of an afghan.
