Designed as the June/July 2018 Mystery Sock Knit-a-Long for the Solid Socks Group.

Clues were released on June 1, 8, 15, and 22.

This pattern is for a top-down sock with heel flap and gusset. Pattern includes both charts and written instructions.

Sizes
To fit 7” (7.5”, 8”, 8.5”, 9”) / 18 (19, 20, 21.5, 23) cm foot circumference
The length of the leg, including the cuff, is about 6.5” / 16.5 cm. There id an option to lengthen or shorten the leg.

Yarn
350 (375, 400, 425, 450) yards / 320 (343, 366, 389, 411) meters of light fingering weight yarn.
Sample was knit with The Periwinkle Sheep Watercolors (460 yards/ 421 meters per 100g skein; 75% wool, 25% polyamide)

Needles
2.25 mm double-pointed needles or two circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge

Gauge
37 stitches x 50 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Stockinette St after blocking
Stitch gauge is important to ensure a well-fitting pair of socks. Row gauge will affect the length of the leg.
