Happy Place Scarf
Designed for the 2024 Steel Valley Yarn Crawl, this is a uniquely textured rectangular scarf with a knitted one-row openwork pattern that lies flat and resembles crochet. Although the stitch is very rhythmic and easy to memorize, the resulting fabric is compact, so a needle size two or three sizes larger than recommended on the ball band should be used. The pattern stitch detail will be enhanced by variegated, speckled or tonal hand-dyed yarns.
