This pattern is available in print for £4.50.

The socks are knit from the cuff down and feature an afterthought heel.

This pattern uses the spiralling stripes technique.

If you’ve not used this technique before don’t worry! It’s fully explained in the pattern.

This pattern uses less than 400yds of yarn, but you will need two colours, half of each.

The sample was knit in Knit Picks Chroma, shades Lollipop and Bare.

Sadly Lollipop has been discontinued, but you can substitute the following to get the same effect:

For the cream yarn:
Regia 4-ply in Natural or White. You can buy this in 50g balls, which is all you’ll need, or 100g - up to you!

Alternatively, Lion Brand Sock Ease in colour Marshmallow, which comes in 100g balls.

For the rainbow yarn, try one of the following - you want a long colour change:

Lana Gross Magic II, shade 3509

Rico Superba Poems in Candy

Katia Darling in 201 or 213 - this comes in 50g balls and you’ll only need one.

Scholler und Stahl Esslinger in shade 8

Lang Magic Degrade in shade 50
