Greenshield is a easy triangular shawl with a simple lace motif and moss stitch stripes. Inspired by the common Green Shield Lichen often found hugging the trees on the coast, full of intriguing colours and textures this shawl is designed to be a light layer around you, which will flutter as romantically in the wind as the Lichen does in the coastal moorland breeze.
Increasing regularly creates the beautiful triangular shape, and also means you can make the shawl as small or big as you like. Using a Mohair Silk blend held double with an Alpaca Silk blend creates a super luxurious shoulder shield for the cooler times of day.
