Grá
Grá means love in Irish and these mitts have been named after my dear friend Gràinne who loves knitting just as much as I do!
Designed with a long cuff rib, textured basket weave stitch pattern and a little gentle thumb shaping. These fingerless mitts will keep your hands warm when the temperature is a little cooler.
Yarn
Shown in Dublin Dye Merino Sock ‘Vampire’ (100% Merino; 100 grams; 400 metres/437 yards). Pattern requires 40grams; 160 metres/175 yards. Please use a yarn that has some stretch to allow for a nice flexible fit around the hands.
Needles
2.25 mm Double Pointed Needles
Notions
Two stitch markers and darning needle to sew in ends.
Gauge
8 sts & 12 rows to 4” / 10 cm in Stocking St
Finished Measurements
One size to fit up to a hand measurement of 8” wide (widest point)
