Notes on yardage- The second edition update includes details for a short version of Frost. Here are some yardage details for either version! Amount specified are approximations, and will vary according to gauge. Please allow additional yardage for swatching.

SHORT version:
Yarn A: 750 (830, 905, 980, 1070, 1130, 1235)m / 820 (905, 990, 1070, 1170, 1235, 1350) yds
Yarn B: 200 (205, 205, 205, 210, 210, 215)m / 220 (225, 225, 225, 230, 230, 235) yds

For LONG version, an additional:
Yarn A: 220 (240, 260, 280, 300, 325, 355)m / 240 (260, 285, 305, 330, 355, 385) yds
Yarn B: 45m / 50 yd

Gauge: 20 sts & 28 rows = 10 cm / 4” over St st on 4 mm needles, after blocking

Needles: 4 mm / US 6 circular needle, 80 cm / 32” length
Always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.

Notions: 2 knitting bobbins for working Intarsia, 4 stitch markers, 2 split ring markers, tapestry needle

Notes: About ‘Blended Intarsia’: Decorative Raglan Seams (DRS) are formed by doubling yarn B with yarn A, while the remainder of work is knit with yarn A only. Knitting bobbins are recommended for holding yarn B.
Frost Tunic is knit in pieces from the bottom up. Both long and short versions feature a triangular notch that is knit while working the back. The front neck is shaped with short rows and the collar is worked while knitting the body pieces.
